Queer|Art|Mentorship has partnered with Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art for its second annual public exhibition at the Museum's Prince St. Project Space from October 16-25th. A two-weekend series of exhibitions, screenings, and performances will take place October 16–18 and 23–25, featuring work by 2014–2015 Queer|Art|Mentorship Fellows and Mentors Morgan Bassichis, Jibz Cameron (Dynasty Handbag), Arisleyda Dilone, Zachary Frater, Shannon Keating, James Lecesne, Luce Capco Lincoln, Bradford Nordeen, Samantha Nye, Maia Cruz Palileo, Rebecca Patek, Grey Vild and Steven Wilsey.

An opening reception for the Annual Exhibition will be held on Friday, October 16th from 6-8pm with a special one-night-event with screenings, performances and readings on Friday, October 23rd from 6-9pm. The multi-disciplinary, inter-generational arts program that pairs and supports mentorship between emerging and established queer artists in NYC, broadens its reach with this public program, exhibiting artwork from each of its participants from the 2014–2015 program. The exhibition arrives at the close of the 12-month mentorship process for the Fellows, who will welcome the new 2015-2016 Mentees. The 2014-2015 Annual Queer|Art|Mentorship Exhibition is produced by Queer|Art Program Coordinator, Vanessa Haroutunian and curator Sam Richardson.

In addition to the exhibition at the Museum's Prince Street Project Space, photographer and curator Sam Richardson has a series of photographs on display in the Window gallery at the main museum location on Wooster Street. Richardson has created a series of diptychs collaboratively with each of the QAM Fellows. Each is comprised of a portrait headshot and a second image chosen by each Fellow that reflects an alternative way to visually portray oneself. Richardson's photos will be on view through January 4th, 2016.
