COMMUNITY & VENUE PARTNERSHIPS

Our community partnerships with presenting venues and artist service organizations make it possible for us to create a network of support for our community. These include: ACRE, Art Omi, DCTV, Film Forum, HONCHO, ICA LA, IFC Center, Julius’, La MaMA Experimental Theater Club, Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art, Movement Research, New York Live Arts, Newfest, Nowadays, Parkside Lounge, Participant Inc., Pen + Brush, Performance Space New York, Poetry Project, Quad Cinema, Queer Nightlife Community Center, Rattlestick Theater, Sargent’s Daughters, Smack Mellon, Trans Equity Consulting, UnionDocs, and Writers Against the War on Gaza. To connect about partnership opportunities, please email info@queer-art.org.

Queer|Art is currently piloting service as a fiscal sponsor, which establishes a contractual relationship between a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a group/individual whose activities align with the sponsor’s mission. QA’s staff and Board feel it is crucial to leverage our role as an established arts non-profit to support new efforts within our community that benefit from such assistance.

Queer|Art is proud to serve as a fiscal sponsor for Body Hack (a mutual care resource & international fundraising collective for and by trans people of color), Doll Invasion (an annual trans takeover of the Fire Island Pines), Lite Brite Neon (a studio creating neon art works that celebrate queer storytelling and legacies), Transmission Music Festival (an annual trans music festival founded by Cecilia Gentili), and other short-term projects led by members of Queer|Art’s artist community.
