Coyote Park, 2021 Finalist

Coyote Park (he/they) is a 2Spirit Transgender Yurok, White, and Korean person from Honolulu, Hawai’i. He currently lives with his wife in Los Angeles and makes photos with his trans family. In Hawai’i, he grew up in a catholic all girl school and later started transitioning in his junior year of High School. Moving to New York, he started as a photographer for queer kink events, finding community healing through portraiture. Coyote is the co-founder of ENBY Spoken Histories; an oral history project preserving ENBY, Trans, GNC, Intersex, & 2S narratives. Their practice involves self-documentation & images of other QTPOC, as living testimonies. This serves as the foundation of their image making and oral history work. Currently, they are in the process of creating a QTPOC Dream Zine with GenderFail and a photo book "All Kin is Blood Kin."
