Jordiana is a Black, Afro Futuristic, Queer, Gender Non Conforming, Non Binary Femme, whose work is multidimensional and at the core healing. They are currently on Tongva/Kizh land formerly known as Los Angeles, and have been there since they were 6 years old after moving with their single mom to pursue her acting career. It was her mother's dedication to the arts & her own career that opened the door for her own relationship with artistic creation to begin. Jordi studied at Amazing. Grace. Conservatory from a plethora of Black teachers dedicated to building a community of Black student artists in the city. Her work uses the mediums of Film, Movement, Sound, Writing, Ceremony, Wax, and Fashion to weave healing energy into everything she creates. Jordi's practice is deeply ancestral and is a journey to wholeness as a displaced indigenous person.
