The new film by Multi-Year QAM Mentor Angelo Madsen will screen at Anthology Film Archives from March 6-13. The film traces the life and work of legendary photographer, performer, and “Gender Flex” cultural icon, Fakir Musafar. Through investigating the body modification movement and the trajectory of Fakir’s art career and philosophy, A Body to Live In uncovers a riveting facet of queer history. Madsen will host post-screening Q&A's on Friday (joined by Michelle Handelman) and Saturday (joined by 2012 QAM Mentor Matt Wolf). Tickets here.
