Chris Gartrell is an artist and educator, born in Victoria, BC, and based in Brooklyn, NY. His drawings explore boundaries between internal and external experience, representing dreams, emotions, memories, and places. Chris also teaches at NYU and The Frick Collection, and runs an artist residency in New Hampshire called West Wind.
