COMMUNITY & VENUE PARTNERSHIPS

Our community partnerships with presenting venues and fellow artist service organizations make it possible for us to create a network of support for our artist community. These include The Center, the Whitney Museum of American Art, IFC Center, Abrons Art Center, The Bureau of General Services: Queer Division, The Brown Boi Project, Movement Research, e-flux, Stephen Petronio Company, The Blue Mountain Center, Rattlestick Theater, Performance Space, and UnionDocs. To connect about partnership opportunities, please email info@queer-art.org.

Queer|Art is currently piloting service as a fiscal sponsor, which establishes a contractual relationship between a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a group/individual whose activities align with the sponsor’s mission. QA’s staff and Board feel it is crucial to leverage our role as an established arts non-profit to support new efforts within our community that benefit from such assistance.

Queer|Art is proud to serve as a fiscal sponsor for Art for Black Lives (a platform that enables artists to donate fine art prints for sale, with all profits benefiting the Black Trans Community), Body Hack (a mutual care resource & international fundraising collective for and by trans and queer people of color), Lite Brite Neon (studio creating neon art works that celebrate queer narratives), and the Trans Oral History Project (community archive devoted to the collection, preservation and sharing of trans histories).
